The VBC Director’s Challenge
Leslie Dala, Music Director of the Vancouver Bach Choir, has initiated his “Director’s Challenge.” Leslie started the ball rolling with the first donation to a fund that was further enhanced by the VBC board members.
Leslie and the board are challenging you, the membership, to develop ways of improving our financial situation to the tune of $80,000 in cash or in kind in this fiscal year.
With a choir of 160, this equates to a commitment of approximately $500 per member.
Leslie’s starting donation plus the subsequent “stepping up to the plate” donations by your VBC board members and management team total an initial commitment of $10,000 in cash with more to come “in kind” over the season.
Take up the “Director’s Challenge!” Leslie and your VBC board are looking forward to your acceptance of this challenge individually, both for the amounts that we aim to raise and also for the increase in the sense of working together for the good of our choir. We can do it!
